Sit on your knees with your elbows and forearms resting on the side of the ball. Tighten your abdominal muscles and push the ball forward while stretching your body out. Continue moving forward until your upper body and thighs are creating a straight line.


Ab rolls are similar to crunches yet they require an exercise ball to perform them. The starting position for this flat tummy exercise is on your back. Bring your knees up and place your feet flat on the floor. The ball should be rested on your thighs, with your arms extended to keep it in place. Lift your shoulders from the floor like you are doing a crunch while pushing the ball up to the top of your knees at the same time. Hold this position for 1 to 2 seconds before returning to the starting position.

These are just a few of the flat tummy exercises that you can complete using an exercise ball. It is not required to have a ball to burn belly fat, but it can help to change up the workout to keep it from becoming too boring. Experiment with your ball and incorporate it into regular equipment free exercises to create new methods of working your abs muscles.
